Day 4

We like playing games. So almost every game we have at home we tried. The girls knew some games from a few years ago. At the last day of 2010 we have been to a bowling centre. Muhamed finished his first game with three strikes on a row! After eating our dinner we are preparing for new years eve. We planed again some games and of course fireworks at the end. We all wish you a wonderful evening and get a good start in 2011. Happy new year.

Prelijep dan iza nas. Vec ranije smo znali nase planove za danas. Nakon dorucka igrali smo neke igrice. Zatim krenuli kod Tamare na rodjendan. Pri povratku Erika je napravila odlican rucak. Ono cemu smo se najvise radovali je kuglanje. Tu smo proveli mnogo vremena, veoma zanimljivo. Uzivali smo, iako je to bio tek  pocetak naseg ucenja. Bilo je veoma zanimljivo, mozda cak najzanimljivije do sad, jer zaista volimo igre. Sada takodjer uz drustvene igre cekamo novu godinu. Vani je lijepa atmosfera. Sve je veoma lijepo i mi uzivamo naravno. Amira

Day 3 Zoo

Today we visit the Zoo. Mina and Amira would like to go back to the Zoo, because they have nice memories there. For Muhamed it was his first time ever in a Zoo. We all have a great time. The animals were super. Especially the elephants, the hyena's and the rhinoceros. Mina and Amira remembered the playgrounds and they take Muhamed and Bas and slippery as it was (there is snow and ice on the climbing things), they played a long time again. The dinosaurs were a big adventure, but Muhamed find the night animals a bigger adventure. At the end of the afternoon, we were cold and tired and went home for a Mexican dinner and a relaxed evening. In the evening we play Magarac (ezelen) and other games.
Again a succesfull day. For us (Erwin, Erika and Bas) it is quality time. Friendship is the best thing you can have. The agenda for tomorrow, birthday party, bowling and of course new years eve.

Danas smo posjetili zoloski vrt. Mnogo vremena smo proveli u vrtu, to vrijeme nam je brzo proslo. Dugo cemo pamtiti ovaj dan jer vidjeli smo mnoge zivotinje. Najvise su nam se svidjeli slonovi i njihov zivot u zatvorenom prostoru. Jos jedan dan puno iskustava i znanja. Posjetili smo se svega sto smo prosli prije nekih 6 godina. Takodjer nam se svidjelo vrijeme  provedeno na igralistu. Pravili smo male pauze uz topao caj. Najbolji izazov za nas bio je ulaz u mracnu kucu gdje su bile zivotinjice svuda oko nas. Nakon duge setnje i obilazaka, krenuli smo kuci malo umorni. Jako lijep i interesantan dan. Mina

Day 2

Today we explore Amersfoort. We have seen old houses and the Koppelpoort (very famous gate, 751 years old) of Amersfoort. The shops were in Christmas style. We walked about an hour and then we have eaten toast. In the afternoon we visited a street-circus. All the artists were between 12 and 20 years old. We have seen street-dance, a girl in the rings, basketball music, roller-skates and trapeze and a lot more. After this we went to the skate-track and Bas learned Amira, Mina and Muhamed skating. It was very difficult but nice. A lot of laughing. In the evening we relaxed and make ourselves fit for tomorrow.

I ovaj dan smo proveli jako zanimljivo. Nije bilo hladno, pa smo mogli ici u obilazak grada. Fotografisali smo se na raznim mjestima, zatim isli u cirkus i ono cemu smo se najvise radovali a to je klizanje. Mnogo       

 zanimljivi planovi za danas. Danas smo stekli mnoga iskustva, prvo vezano za grad Amersfoort, zatim klizanje i mnogo drugih stvari. Uz sve ove aktivnosti brzo je prosao i ovaj 29. decembar. Nadamo se da ce i sutra biti zanimljivo kao danas. Amira

Day 1

With almost no delay the plane landed at Schiphol Airport. De kids has traveled from 4.30 AM until 14.00 PM. Now we are at home in Amersfoort. We first started with tea and a little self-made pie. They surprised us with a lot of gifts from Bosnia. After that Bas played Ganzebord (typical Dutch game) and Wii and took them for a little walk in the neighborhood. Maybe they could remember something from 5 years ago. They still remembered the funny ruin-houses and the little play yard. For Muhamed everything is of course new. For dinner we planned chicken, potatoes and salad, very safe for their first day:-)   We also asked the children to write something down about their holiday.

Za nas je ovo jedno predivno iskustvo. Ponovo smo u Holandiji kod veoma dragih osoba, koji su nas na jedan divan nacin docekali i primili u svoj dom. Nadamo se da ce nam ove 2 sedmice proci u najboljem redu jer nam je svaki dan isplaniran i biti ce veoma interesantno. Vec prvi dan smo proveli jako lijepo u toplom domu uz drustvene igre. Veoma interesantan dan i prezadovoljni smo samim pocetkom. Amira.

On december 28 2010 will Amira (left), Mina (right) and her brother Muhamed (not on the photo) visit us for 2 weeks. They will fly from Sarajevo to Amsterdam and hopefully land at 01.00 PM. It is there first time ever flying. So it will be exiting for them. We will wait for them at the gate to collect them. It still is not sure if everything is going well. They need all necessarily documents and what about the weather??? Both airports must be open and snow or fog can always get in our way.
